Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the NDIS and our services.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is Australia’s national scheme for funding reasonable and necessary supports for people with permanent and significant disability. It provides funding directly to participants to purchase the disability supports and services they need.

To be eligible for the NDIS, you generally need to be under 65 years of age, be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects your ability to take part in everyday activities.

You can apply for the NDIS by contacting the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) directly. You’ll need to provide evidence of your disability and how it impacts your daily life. Our team can help guide you through the application process.

We provide a wide range of NDIS services including Support Coordination, Personal Care, Community Access, Therapeutic Supports, Transport Services, Employment Support, Life Skills Development, and Plan Management.

You have the freedom to choose your own service providers under the NDIS. We recommend looking for registered providers with experience in your specific needs, checking reviews and references, and meeting with potential providers to ensure they’re a good fit.

Support Coordination helps you understand and implement your NDIS plan. A Support Coordinator works with you to connect you with the right providers and services, resolve any issues that arise, and help you build skills to manage your supports independently.

In some circumstances, family members can be paid to provide support under NDIS funding. This requires approval from the NDIA and must be clearly in the best interest of the participant. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.

Getting started is easy! Simply contact us via phone, email, or our contact form. We’ll arrange an initial consultation to understand your needs and explain how we can support you.
